WE’RE ALL HUMAN BEINGS

by Johnny Punish (2010)

We must be careful what we project
The law of attraction is always in check
Bringing us what we think
Extremists at the gate hey don’t blink
Cause what we think is what we bring
When we kiss the lies on a radical ring
And we think murder is moral thing
It only makes us forget…..

That we’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings

When we can’t condemn an attack on the sea
On protestors just like you and me
Cause a talking head will say on TV
That the bad guy is the man on his knees

So the shipmates defend with sticks and stones
While the pirates shoot with bullets on bones
And the death toll rises while we go home
It only makes us forget

That we’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings

Madison Avenue overdrive
Lobbyists pay to tell the lies
Beltway people speak nothing but jive
While taxpayers try to stay alive

And the shipmates defend with sticks and stones
Where’s my president get him on the phone
And the death toll rises and he’s not home
It only makes us forget

That we’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings
We’re all Human Beings

  1. Niall says:

Clearly Johnny, we’re NOT all human beings. Some of us are psychopaths and many of us are so damaged by psychopaths that we are effectively also psychopaths. “We’re all one” isn’t going to advance anything. People need to to understand that the world is ruled by an intra-species predator… psychopaths.

  2. Johnny Punish says:

Niall, yes, unfortuately, the psychotic predators are the fungus among us. No naivete here. The song is meant as a hope and a higher ideal to aspire to; to remind us that we are one part of one tribe and that we have to rely upon and live in peace and harmony. Moreover, it’s a statement about GAZA and the oppression, criminality of the Zionist state.
