Inspired by the fate of the Gaza Peace Flotilla as Israel attacked the Mavi Marmara Rachel Corrie peace ship on it’s way to provide aid to the needy in the occupied and oppressed prison camp that is the Gaza strip, Johnny Punish rips open a wound and exposes it the anti-septic light. Exposed and without clothing, Johnny Punish declares that we’re all Human Beings and peace, freedom and justice for all means just that, for all, and not just the chosen few.

American Civil Combat Hero for Justice Rachel Corrie Hovers over U.S. Conscience in Gaza Flotilla Massacre

We are heart-sick and outraged about the brutal attack launched by the Israeli Military on the Free Gaza Movement’s flotilla of boats in the early morning hours (Eastern Mediterranean time), Monday, May 31. The boats were carrying civilian passengers and humanitarian aid into the besieged Gaza Strip, and were clearly in international waters when this illegal attack occurred, in violation of international law.

Israeli Military Investigator Admits Failures in the Military Investigation of Rachel Corrie Killing

Today March 17, 2010 the Haifa District Court saw a fourth day of testimony in the civil lawsuit filed by Rachel Corrie’s family against the State of Israel for her unlawful killing in Rafah, Gaza. Rachel Corrie, an American human rights defender from Olympia, Washington, was crushed to death on March 16, 2003 by a Caterpillar D9R bulldozer. She had been nonviolently demonstrating against Palestinian home demolitions with fellow members of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), a Palestinian-led movement committed to resisting the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land using nonviolent, direct action methods and principles.

Please Remember Rachel Corrie on March 16

Rachel Corrie was killed in the Gaza Strip in Palestine on March 16, 2003, trying to prevent the demolition of the home of a Palestinian family (a pharmacist, accountant, their wives, and five young children). The Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice was established by members of Rachel’s family and community to continue the kind of work that she began and hoped to accomplish.
